About Whitlands Engineering
Whitco Vineyard Equipment is proudly designed and manufactured by Whitlands Engineering – An Australian, family owned company located in northeast Victoria.
Whitlands Engineering specialises in the design and manufacture of firewood (see www.superaxe.com.au for more information on firewood equipment) and vineyard equipment. Led by CEO and head designer David Burder, Whitlands Engineering has been designing and manufacturing innovative, robust machinery for over 15 years, and now employs 16 staff across two manufacturing divisions.
David began designing equipment for local vineyards in 1994 (and then for the company vineyard in 2001), after realising that some of the equipment on the market was overpriced and inefficient. Understanding that several of his vineyard innovations had potential, Whitco Vineyard Equipment was born, and as they say – the rest is history. Tried and tested in the company vineyard for almost 15 years, Whitco is now distributed across Australia and New Zealand.
All Whitco products are manufactured on site using quality Australian made components; the manufacturing philosophy is simple – good design, built to last, productive and efficient. As a testament to the durability of the products, all Whitco machinery is covered by a one year warranty; and by using Australian made parts, any future repairs are simple, quick and affordable.
The Whitco range of products includes versatile hedging systems, vineyard cane rakes, masts and mounting systems, in addition to a range of custom built general vineyard equipment. The hedging systems also are widely used in other agricultural industries – including olives, nut groves, orchards etc.
Whitco is distributed around Australia and New Zealand through a network of certified dealers. To locate your nearest dealer, click here.
